From Wheat Kernel to Beer
The tour starts in our Tasting Room, or, weather permitting, from the terrace. We will walk you to the brewery and, over the course of the next 45 minutes, show you everything there is to know about how our beer is brewed. We start with a short movie about our brewery and the brewing process for our speciality beers. Then, we show you the brewhouse with copper kettles and the lagering room where the beer is allowed to mature. We also take you to the fermentation and the bottling rooms. By the end, you’ll share in the brewing experience with us – smelling, tasting and seeing how we create our exclusive beers.
After the tour, we will return to our Tasting Room, where you can leisurely sample our speciality beers. Our sampler consists of four different glasses of freshly tapped beers from our brewery. Relax, as you compare the different characters and decide which Texel Beer appeals to you most.
The Tasting Room also offers a large number of appropriate gift items to take back to your loved ones, such as a gift box with a special selection of our beers and the accompanying Skuumkoppe ribbed glass – or our special bottle-opener that bleats like the brewer’s sheep.
